Macro life on the House Reef

Bjørnar Nygård taking a walk in the park. No gloves - real viking AAAAAARRRRRRRRRRHH!

The wreck Bandak. I turned the left flash off and set the shutter speed at 1/8 Sec. to burn in the green water colour, as it was very dark down there. f/6,3 ISO 800

Nordic Photo Event 21/9 - 26/9 2010
The event was based at the great dive center: Gulen dykkesenter http://gulendykkesenter.no/ two hours north of Bergen on the Norwegian west coast. The event was arranged by Fotografit http://www.fotografit.eu/.

Again this year Alex Mustard http://www.amustard.com/ was the main speaker. The theme was focused on controlling light in cold waters.

As co. speaker Christian Skauge http://www.undervannsfoto.no/ gave us two lectures about macro photography on the Norwegian west coast.

And as guest speaker we had the World Champion in under water photography Espen Rekdal http://www.espenrekdal.com/

I used my Nikon D300 in Sea&Sea housing with two Sea&Sea YS110 flashguns. Lenses: Nikon 60mm macro, Nikon 105mm Macro & Tokina 10-17mm FE.
Alex borrowed me his 1,4 Kenko teleconverter witch I tried on my 105mm macro & on the Tokina 10-17mm FE. ( it's a must have now ;-))
